Diagnostic Testing

ESSENTIAL HEALTH CHECK

  • Tests for 18 different health markers (Cholesterol, Triglycerides, Liver Function, Vitamin D, Iron Deficiency, B12).
  • Finger prick test includes hospital standard traffic light results.
  • Customers must be aged 18 years or over to take the test.
  • Do not take If customer pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Sample must be taken on Monday- Wednesday and fast at least 8 hours (Morning best time)

CRP INFLAMMATION TEST

  • Identifies risk of damage or deterioration in your body that you may not be aware of. Also, a risk marker for heart disease, strokes, chronic conditions, and infections.
  • Tests for high sensitivity CRP, the most important marker of inflammation.
  • Finger prick test provides hospital standard, easy to read traffic light results.
  • Customers must be over the age of 18 years old.
  • Sample must be taken on a Monday- Wednesday
  • Not suitable for customers who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

STRESS (CORTISOL) TEST

  • Checks your levels of cortisol and stress hormones and identifies whether your stress hormone levels could be impacting your life, your immunity, and your health.
  • Test your early morning cortisol level (stress hormone)
  • Provides hospital standard easy to ready traffic light results.
  • Supporting guidance provide to help make effective lifestyle changes.
  • Customers must be over the age of 18 years old.
  • Sample must be taken on a Monday – Wednesday
  • Sample must be taken before eating (Morning) (fasting)
  • Not suitable for customers who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

THYROID TEST

  • This will test for 2 sensitive thyroid health markers, Thyroxine (T4) & Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) The test will indicate if a person has an overactive thyroid, underactive thyroid, or is showing normal levels.
  • Provides hospital standard easy to read traffic light results.
  • Customers must be aged 18 years or over.
  • Test not available for customers who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Symptoms such as low energy, unexplained weight gain/loss, changes in mood , dry skin, muscle aches , brittle hair or nails.Β 

MENOPAUSE TEST

  • This test is good for people who think that they may be approaching the menopause.
  • It’s to understand whether your menopause status may be impacting your health and what you can do to help.
  • This will test for LH,FSH and oestradiol which are key markers of menopause status
  • Provides clear info as to whether or not your results indicate peri-menopause or menopause.
  • Ideally suited for women who are approaching menopause age.
  • Not suitable for those taking hormonal contraception or hormone replacement therapy.
  • Symptoms such as hot flushes, anxiety, night sweats, poor sleep, low energy.

FEMALE HORMONE TEST

  • Female hormone levels vary throughout the menstrual cycle, but imbalances can impact your everyday health in lots of different ways.
  • This test could help women who have irregular periods, wondering about fertility, or good maybe concerned about their general wellbeing, energy levels, weight, mood swings and skin (acne)
  • Good way of taking control of your health in a positive way and understand whether your female hormones status may be impacting your health.
  • Provides results for 7 key female hormone markers , including LH, FSH
  • Suitable for Women aged 20 years and older.
  • Test is not suitable for those taking hormonal contraception or hormone replacement therapy.
  • Sample needs to be taken on day 3 of your menstrual cycle (if cycling)

FEMALE FERTILITY TEST

  • This test could help women who are looking to start a family in the future and want to find out more about their potential fertility, or they might be interested in learning more about ovarian reserve which is an indication of how many eggs you have remaining.
  • Also, can help women are maybe finding it hard to fall pregnant, and would like to understand more about their hormone levels.
  • Provides hospital standard easy to read results for 2 key fertility hormone markers, FSH & AMH
  • Only available for women aged between 20 and 50 years old.
  • Not suitable for those taking hormonal contraception or hormone replacement therapy.
  • Sample needs to be taken on day 3 of your menstrual cycle.

MALE HORMONE TEST

  • Simple finger prick blood test.
  • Tests for 8 key male hormone markers , LH&FSH, Testosterone, Prolactin, Albumin and sex hormone binding globulin , and Free androgen index.
  • Suitable for men ages 20 and over
  • Sample needs to be taken in the morning.
